We are interested in all genres of music but at the moment we are particularly keen to audition tracks that would suit our Laid Back Lounge and Elegance playlists as we have loads of restaurants, cafes and funky bars that are looking for new music.

When a business plays background music to their customers, public performance fees are often payable to rights societies like PPCA and APRA. At Moo Moo Music, whilst we strongly agree that artists deserve payment for their work, we suggest that the distribution method used is often a guessing game.
Fees are collected from businesses, operational costs are taken out and the remainder is distributed. Mainstream radio artists are often the recipients of most of these royalties, however many background music systems do not feature mainstream artists. That’s where Moo Moo Music comes in!
As a Moo Moo Moosician, your songs will play in clubs, pubs, restaurants, cafes and retail stores... and you'll get paid directly.
Essentially, the public performance fees are being distributed only to the artists supplying the music. Great news for independent artists and a real win for the business too, as their requirement to pay the (often high) rights society fees is now reduced or eliminated.
