Happy Ghosts

Andrew Muecke is a multi-instrumentalist composer and producer.

Andrew's musical career started in the 1990's playing bass with original band At Random, releasing 2 E.P’s, 3 full length CD's and 8 video clips. Their track 'That Reminds Me', a particular favourite of MTV released in 1998, received worldwide radio and video play alongside Massive Attack and Portishead.
 
In 2001, Andrew's duo 'Andrissa' was signed to an American independent company Triton Records. A dance remix of their track ‘Drift’ (by Mixmanmike) was a success on the dance music scene in England.
 
Andrew provides the music for Adelaide based ‘avant-garde’ duo Happy Ghosts. Since early 2005 the 'Happy Ghosts' have released 3 EP's, 3 full length CD's and an hour long art film called 'Ammunition'. Their tracks have played throughout the world, with chart success consistently in Canada and their videos have been shortlisted in numerous film festivals.
 
Andrew also has a number of other musical projects that he is involved with. Andrew plays bass in the pop-rock outfit ‘The Red’ and he also provides ‘ambient’ music for film and TV.
